Abstract
The development of the internet that drives the growth of e-commerce in Indonesia, the volume and total of online shopping transactions continues to increase every year. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between conformity and online shopping consumptive behavior among students at the 17 August 1945 University in Surabaya. The population in this study were the students of the Faculty of Psychology, class of 2017, Universitas 17 August 1945, Surabaya. The sampling technique used is quota sampling, using purposive sampling. This study uses a conformity scale and a consumptive behavior scale. Testing the hypothesis in this study using the correlation coefficient of product moment analysis shows the value of conformity (x) with consumptive behavior (y) obtained a score of rxy = -0.287 at a significant level (p) = 0.000 (p <0.05) which means that there is a negative correlation There is a significant relationship between conformity variables and online shopping consumptive behavior in students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya.
