Abstract

Shopping Centerl is one of the buildings that consumes high electrical energy. In general, the lighting system and air conditioning system are factors that cause inefficient use of electrical energy in the Galaxy Mall building. Based on the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia No. 13 of 2012 concerning saving electricity consumption, it is necessary to manage electrical energy so that the intensity of electrical energy consumption can be managed properly and can be more efficient. In this study, an audit of the lighting system and air conditioning system was carried out and in this study used the energy audit method by calculating the Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) value for the electrical energy efficiency process. From the initial energy audit calculation, the IKE value in the Galaxy Mall 3 building is 353.78 kWh/m2/year, this value exceeds the ASEAN-USAID standard of 330 kWh/m2/year. After conservation of energy by replacing lamps in the lighting system and using inverter AC in the air conditioning system, the results of the IKE value after conservation are 333.25 kWh/m2/year. This value still exceeds the ASEANUSAID standard but is still tolerable. Keywords : IKE, Energy Audit, Energy Conservation
