Abstract
Shrimp is one of the important commodities of the fisheries sector that has good business opportunities for local and external consumers. Shrimp farming activities continuously cause obstacles which include many shrimp seeds that die at an early age so that many farmers who experience crop failure due to changes in water temperature, water pH levels that greatly affect shrimp cultivation. In turn, breeders currently only test the water content of a pond manually without the right tools that can give the right value, so that there are no precise and maximum measurement results. In this study proposed to make a water measurement tool consisting of arduino mega 2560 microcontroller and several sensors needed. This research aims to make it easier for farmers to know the conditions in the pond so as to maximize performance efforts for shrimp cultivation. The result will be a measurement visualization tool on shrimp cultivation and there is also an android application to monitor the value of each sensor and its explanation based on range and also display graphics from each sensor to make it easier to anticipate what shrimp farmers should do if they experience drastic changes in shrimp farming ponds.
