Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between time management and social interaction with internet addiction in emerging adulthood. This study uses quantitative research with a total of 100 subjects. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling technique. The research sample included in this study was emerging adulthood individuals aged 18 to 29 years in the city of Surabaya. Based on the analysis calculation using Multiple Regression Analysis, a correlation score of 0.593 was obtained with p = 0.000 (p <0.05) meaning that there was a significant relationship between time management and social interaction with internet addiction. Meanwhile, a score of -0.372 with p=0.000 (p<0.05) means that there is a significant negative relationship between time management and internet addiction. The correlation score is -0.201 with p=0.024 (p<0.05), which means that there is a significant negative relationship between social interaction and internet addiction. As a result, the higher the time management and social interaction that emerging adulthood has, the lower the internet addiction. The effective contribution in this study was 0.352, meaning that time management and social interaction had a 35.2% effect on internet addiction.
