Abstract
The research problems that have been described above, then the formulation of the problem proposed in this study is Is there a relationship between social support and learning motivation in 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo during online learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether social support is related to learning motivation in 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo during online learning. Techniques using Incidental Sampling. Incidental Sampling is a sampling technique of data sources based on chance, that is, anyone who coincidentally/incidentally meets with a researcher can be used as a sample, if it is seen that the subject encountered matches the criteria determined by the researcher (Sugiyono, 2013). This technique is a random sampling technique in which the researcher will determine the sampling by determining special characteristics. The correlation between Social Support and Learning Motivation is 0.430 with a significance level of 0.000 (p 0.01). So it can be concluded that the hypothesis of Social Support is positively related to Learning Motivation is accepted. It can be concluded that the relationship is a positive relationship in the sense that the higher the variable X (Social Support), the higher the Variable Y (Learning Motivation), and vice versa. the correlation coefficient value is (r 0.430). This means that the higher the level of social support, the higher the level of learning motivation of 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo, conversely the lower the level of social support, the lower the learning motivation of 11th graders of SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo.
