Abstract
This study aims to prove and analyze the effect of transformational leadership style variables, rewards and punishments on employee perfor-mance variables, either partially or simultaneously. By optimizing the three variables, it is expected that the performance of employees in a company can increase. PT. Berkat Anugerah Raya is a company engagedin manufacturing. This company provides products in the form of trucks and heavy equipment for all regions with varied products and spare parts warranty. If it is seen from the development needs which are increasing every year, this company is one of the companies that strongly supportsthe development of development in Indonesia. This company was founded in 1982 in Surabaya. The development carried out by PT.BerkatAnugerah Raya is engaged in the body industry. PT Berkat Anugerah Raya produces heavy equipment in the field of road infrastructure repairwith a national reach. The products produced include platform trucks, fire trucks, vibra-tory rollers and hydraulic ex-cavators. To support promotional efforts and make offers, the company cooperates with local governments. PT Berkat Anugerah Raya also has 100 employees which include staff, tech-nicians, as well as operators who are experienced in their fields. The problem studied is whether there is an influence of transformational lead-ership style, reward, and punishment on employee performance. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Berkat Anugerah Raya in Surabaya, there are 100 people. The sampling technique used istotal sampling / census which amounts to the entire population of em- ployees of PT. Berkat Anugerah Raya which amounted to 100 people. The data collected using the questionnaire was processed and analyzed using the SPSS Version 22 computer statistics program. The results of the study prove that the transformational leadershipstyle, reward and punishment partially orsimultaneously have a positiveand significant effect on the performance of employees of PT.
