Abstract
This Bandar Ikat Woven Handicraft is a ikat which is still made using manual tools without using a machine. Many of today's ikat weaving craftsmen are already using factory machines. This Ikat Weaving Place is on Jalan. Agus Salim, Bandar Kidul sub-district, Kec. Mojoroto Kediri. In this village, there is a center for the weaving of ikat which is made using manual tools without machines. Weaving bandar South ikat is still minimally known. even now the phylosophy contained behind the weaving of Bandar Kediri has disappeared now the craftsmen make and accept only to order. Because it is known by the residents of Kediri its self, the number of people who are engaged in this field is also small. and it is feared thatit will become extinct in the future because of the lack of enthusiasts to continue this culture. Therefore, the design of this design object is to provide a place that empowers craft activists to have a place to develop this ikat cloth craft industry and as a means of empowering the city community and educational recreational tourism for the wider community.
