Abstract
PT. Benteng Api Technic or also known as BAT Refractories, established in 1997, is a manufacturing company engaged in production, trading and construction. The raw material factory is located on Jl. PLN Substation Sumput Village, Gresik. Benteng Api Technic produces Fire Bricks, Fire Resistant Cement and Refractory Materials. In the raw material factory there are four stone crushing machines, one of which produces phyrophyllite which will be observed for research. This study aims to reduce physical fatigue on the operator by using an artco cart according to body anthropometry in order to increase productivity. This study uses the Cardiovascullar Load (%CVL) method, as the comparison before design is > 30% which means improvements are needed and after design the fatigue level is < 30%, which means there is a significant decrease. Productivity analysis has also increased from the original standard output of 474kg/hour and the standard time of 318,28 second/bag with a productivity level of 18,8% and after designing the standard output of 714kg/hour and standard time of 211,05 second/bag with a productivity rate of 28,3%. Based on the data that has been obtained, there is an increase in productivity after the design of the tool is 9,5%. Keywords: Physical Fatigue, Cardiovascular Load (%Cvl), Anthropometry
