Abstract
The role of public relations today has shifted from the traditional era to the modern era known as digital public relations. The use of digital platforms is more practical in disseminating information. Researchers want to examine more deeply to find out about the strategies carried out by Bright Soul's Public Relations in forming an image through mental health education on Instagram. This study uses public relations model, namely two-way asymmetric and two- way symmetric by James Grunig and Hunt. The public relations model developed into the theory of excellence in public relations which was also used in this research. This research uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive type of research. To get the data needed, the researcher conducted interviews with several informants, namely Public Relations, Social Media Admin, Content Writer Bright Soul and five followers of Bright Soul. Researchers also conducted observations and documentation to complete the data needed. Based on the data that has been collected, the researchers got the results that Bright Soul's Public Relations practice a two-way asymmetric model by applying a strategy to persuade the audience and Bright Soul's Public Relations practice a twoway symmetric model by paying attention to public opinion without prioritizing organizational profits. So that what has been done by Bright Soul's Public Relations has been effective and has made the organization excellence. This makes the activities carried out by Bright Soul's Public Relations can form the right and good image through education on the importance of mental health on Instagram.
