Abstract
Problems in archive collection services are still using old archives and are still limited due to the lack of submission of static archive collections by related parties, where archive visitors are still confused and do not understand. In the efforts made to improve the existing services at the Surabaya City Library and Archives Service, there is socialization and training that is carried out regularly and is expected to be a step to improve the service system in the Surabaya City Library and Archives Service. The data collection method used for this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods in data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study can be seen in organizational performance in archiving services at the Surabaya City Library and Archives Service, namely 1) the ability to adapt to employees where the service employees have been able to adapt, especially in designing change management strategies and being able to carry out ongoing training. 2) the performance of employees in the Library and Archives Service has shown that improving skills or abilities to take part in several pieces of training and coaching and improve work discipline to obtain maximum results. 3) the ability of the performance of employees in the service to achieve job satisfaction with the availability of a good environment and be able to provide supporting facilities to effectively support good performance. 4) Human resources in the Library and Archives Service are by the level of productivity that is considered adequate. 5) Facilities and infrastructure are adequate in terms of archive services.
