Abstract

The need for facilities and infrastructure is very large, one of which is the field of health. And the availability of land in the city of Surabaya is getting less and less, this is thereason why building the city of Surabaya is built multi-storey as an example in the construction of the Royal Surabaya Hospital. The construction project of the Royal Surabaya Hospital has a building area of 1,920 m 2, consisting of 6 floors and 1 roof. In this project, the previous one was designed with a reinforced concrete structure and then redesigned using the WF steel structure. In the preparation of this final project, examine alternative steel structure designs using seismic provisions for steel buildings SNI 7860: 2020 and calculation of deviations using the Autodesk Robot structure analysis with loading referring to SNI 1726:2019. For design purposes, a nominal load should be taken on the basis of the load set by the load- bearing planning guide lines for houses and buildings PPIUG 1987. Based on the results of the alternative design of the Royal Surabaya Hospital structure using a profile steel structure, it can be concluded as follows: (1). An alternative study design RS Royal Surabaya uses a steel structure, and the column k-beam is known to meet the average with cross-sectional components (KC 700 x 300 x 13 x 24, B1 = I 600 x 190 x 16 x 35, B2 = I 450 x 175 x 13 x 26, BA = I 250 x 125 x 7.5 x 12.5). (2). Preliminary design on 3D steel structure, using Autodesk Software Robot Structural Analysis Professional. Preliminary was carried out several times because there was an unsafe ratio of beam-column structure components and had to make changes to the type of alternative structure design. (3). The foundation structure uses a pile foundation type (spun pile) with a diameter of ∅50 cm and a depth of 32 m. Dimensions of type 1 pile cap are planned with 275 x 275 x 100 cm. With the upper and lower bending reinforcement in the X and Y directions is D25-110. (4). From the calculation of the weight and material price of the steel beam-column structure of Rp.7,307,850,000 and the calculation of the volume of material price of the existing concrete beam-column structure of Rp.8,332,012,800, it can be concluded that the steel structure iseconomical compared to the existing concrete trucktur with a price difference of Rp.651,500,000 and a pressentase of 8%.
