Abstract

Jepara has a processing industry sector that contributes the most to the economy of Jepara regency, which was 34.56% in 2017, and one of the distinctive advantages of the Jepara processing industry is carving crafts. Although the processing industry has a high contribution and has an increasing trend every year. But in contrast to its growth rate which has an average decline of 0.272 per year. The woodcarving art gallery is a building containing an exhibition center and training facilities that use the basic concepts of inheritance and regeneration, heritage is something that is passed down from generation to generation and regeneration is a renewal of something these two concepts combined aim to maintain the existence of carving art in Jepara.
