Abstract
Most of the area of Wakatobi Regency is in the form of sea waters. The geographical location of Wakatobi Regency is very strategic because it is located in two water areas that are very potential because they are located in the Banda Sea, Fishery Management Area (WPP)-714 and Flores Sea, Fishery Management Area (WPP)-713. The two WPP areas have great biodiversity and potential for fisheries and marine resources. Thus, the Wakatobi marine area has great potential in the fisheries sector. Although the Wakatobi sea area has the potential to be exploited. However, the management problems of the fisheries and marine sector have not been managed optimally. The problem that occurs is that the facilities and infrastructure of the fisheries sector are less than optimal in the production of capture fisheries. With a fleet size of adequate ship capacity, the facilities and infrastructure are not optimal, such as the lack of cold storage facilities, laboratories and other supporting facilities. Because the fishing port in Wakatobi is still in class D, namely the fish landing base (PPI). With the potential in Wakatobi Regency that needs to be developed and supported which is in accordance with the vision and mission plan of the local government. So for that, it is necessary to have a type C Coastal Fishing Port (PPP) building plan that is able to support production optimization. In addition, the design of the fishing port is not only for marketing activities but there are tourism activities to attract people to visit. With a building design approach, namely the Bioclimatic Architecture approach. The development of activities in the fisheries and marine sector is part of the vision of the local government of Wakatobi Regency which is based on the potential of the archipelago's resources and regional characteristics in accordance with the direction of the 2012-2032 RTRW.
