Dini Sudjiyanti, 1531700025, 2020. Hubungan Antara Dukungan Sosial Dan Strategi Coping Dengan Stres Akademik Pada Siswa. Tesis. Pembimbing : Dr. Andik Matulessy, M.Si.,Psikolog, Pendamping : Dr. Rr Amanda Pasca Rini M.Si.,Psikolog.,Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Stres akademik merupakan suatu kondisi yaitu berupa gangguan fisik, mental ataupun emosional yang disebabkan kerena ketidaksesuaian antara tuntutan lingkungan dengan sumber daya aktual yang dimiliki siswa sehingga semakin merasa terbebani dengan berbagai tekanan dan tuntutan disekolah. Stres akademik merupakan sumber permasalahan yang sering dialami oleh semua siswa, yang hal tersebut disebabkan adanya faktor seperti tuntutan akademik yang dinilai terlampau berat, hasil ujian yang buruk atau tidak sesuai ekspektasi yang diinginkan oleh siswa, tugas yang menumpuk, dan juga lingkungan pergaulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan strategi coping dengan stres akademik pada siswa SMP AL FALAH. Responden dalam penelitian ini 20 siswa SMP AL FALAH, Jalan Anggrek VI/40 Deltasari Indah, Waru, Sidoarjo. Skala stres akademik, dukungan sosial dan strategi coping telah memenuhi uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil analisis data diperoleh harga koefisien F=557.281 pada p=0.000 (p<0.01), dari hasil menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dan strategi coping memberikan pengaruh yang sangat signifikan pada stres akademik. Sehingga hipotesisnya menyatakan adanya hubungan antara bdukungan sosial dan strategi coping dengan stres akademik pada siswa. Uji Parsial pada variabel dukungan sosial, diperoleh t=2.495 pada p=0.023 (p<0,05). Artinya dukungan sosial memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan stres akademik. Variabel strategi coping diperoleh t=2.347 pada p=0.031 (p<0.05). Artinya strategi coping memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan stres akademik.
