Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship of self-control with PUBG Mobile online game addiction in adolescents. The hypothesis is that there is a relationship between self-control and addiction to online PUBG mobile games for teenagers. The sample in this study were high school students of HANG TUAH 1 SURABAYA. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The measuring instrument in this study uses a self-control scale and a PUBG mobile game addiction scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Spearman Rho correlation technique. The results of the calculation of data analysis showed that there was a very significant negative relationship between self-control and the addiction of PUBG mobile online games as indicated by the correlation coefficient (r) -0.640 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01). Thus the hypothesis proposed by this researcher can be accepted.
