Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the positive correlation between Self-Efficacy and Social Support with the Resilience of Layoff Victims During the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research uses quantitative methods. The subjects of this study were 150 victims of layoffs during the Covid 19 pandemic in Manado. The sampling technique used in this research is snowball sampling. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression analysis to see the relationship between one variable and other variables. The results of multiple regression analysis showed the value of F = 231.735 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05) meaning that there was a very significant relationship between self-efficacy and social support with resilience. The results of the second study showed that there was a positive relationship between self-efficacy and resilience, the coefficient t = 20,551 with p = 0.000. The results of the latest research data show that there is a positive relationship between social support and resilience with a coefficient of t = 15.636 with p = 0.000. Resilience can emerge and develop when victims of layoffs have confidence in their abilities.
