Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the compensation and working conditions on employee performance at PT Lintas Samudra Jaya Express. Research was conducted on teachers and officers with a total of 60 people as respondents. Data collection is done using Likert questionnaire with five answer options. The data analysis technique is used multiple linear regression and using instrument test, hypothesis test, classic assumption test t test, f test. Data analysis using SPSS version 26. Using quantitative research types.The results of this study show 1) variable compensation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance in PT Lintas Samudra Jaya Ekspress. This can be proved through the results of a regression analysis with a regression coefficient for a working environment variable (β) 0280 positive coefficient and a partial test result indicating the significance value 0.009 < 0.05. 2) Variable working conditions have a positive and significant influence of employee performance in PT Lintas Samudra Jaya Ekspress. This can be proved through the results of a regression analysis with a regression coefficient for a working environment variable (β) 0197 positive coefficient and a partial test result showing significance value of 0197 < 0.05. 3) variable compensation and working conditions positively and significantly affect the employee performance of PT Lintas Samudra Jaya. It is evidenced by the research coefficient of determinations of 0304, which means that the compensation variable (X1) and the Working Condition variable (X2) affect the performance (Y) variable by 30.4%.
