Abstract

Organic and Inorganic Smart Bins Based on ATMega32 Microcontrollers are designed to overcome the dangers of waste that contains a lot of germs and bacteria on human health. Another benefit is to make people aware of the importance of healthzby removing garbage in its place. The method used to detect the presence of this object is a design method that consists of several stages, namely, Needs analysis, Designing, Series implementation, Testing and Testing Procedure. This tool is divided into two parts, namely hardware and software. Hardware consists of SRF 04 ultrasonic sensor, 2x16 LCD, GSM Sim800L v2 module, Infrared Sensor, Colour Sensor and ATMega32 microcontroller minimum system as a series of input and output controllers and servo DC motors. The efficiency level of the sensor used ranges from 98.5% to 99.8% with work sensitivity in accordance with the program created, which will work if it detects objects (garbage) with a distance below 20 cm. While the software is created using the CodeVisionAVR Evaluation program using Language C.
