Abstract

Indonesia is an area prone to earthquakes that can be at risk of casualties caused by the collapse of the building due to lack of properly designed. This does not rule out the loss of structures that also affect the economic factorsSo that required analysis of structures that have high ductility and structural analysis that has a bracing frame to know the feasibility of the structure in order to avoid severe damage but without spending expensive and does not affect the loss of repairs. Therefore, this study discusses cost comparison and performance of Special Moment Frame and Dual System structures with static analysis of non-linear pushover due to earthquake loads according to SNI 03-2847-2013 and SNI 03-1726-2012. The result of the analysis shows that the structure performance of Special Moment Frame has the performamce point value of X direction change of 0.136 m and the Y direction of 0.022 m. While the Dual System has a performance point value of X direction of 0.03 m and Y direction of 0.072 m. Based on the value of the performance points of the two structures, the dual system structure is more rigid than the Special Moment Frame structure. But both have structural performance under Immediate Occurpancy (IO) conditions. But in terms of price, dual system structure is more economical with the cost incurred of Rp. 3,417,603,300.00 compared to the Special Moment Frame structure of Rp. 3,886,483,100.00. that caused by the dual system structure that has a shearwall that receives the earthquake load from the rest of the main frame. So as to reduce the dimensions and reinforcement of the beam and column structure of the building.
