Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial mentality, and business capital on the entrepreneurial ability of SME Tahu Kuning in Kediri, and the population in this study amounted to 33 SME Tahu Kuning entrepreneurs in this city. Data collection using questionnaires and data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. The sampling type in this study uses the census method. The research results stated that there is a stimulant influence between entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial mentality, and business capital on the entrepreneurial ability of SME Tahu Kuning entrepreneurs in Kediri City. Thus, it can be interpreted that with the increasing motivation of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial mentality, and business capital, the entrepreneurial ability of SME Tahu Kuning entrepreneurs in Kediri is also getting higher. The entrepreneurial ability of SME Tahu Kuning entrepreneurs in Kediri city is influenced by entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial mentality, and business capital by 60.8%, while other variables affect the rest. In order to improve the entrepreneurial ability of SME Tahu Kuning entrepreneurs in Kediri City, SME Tahu Kuning entrepreneurs should participate in various MSME training such as seminars or workshops, parent figures to provide supporting directions, and encourage entrepreneurial mentality and turn profits to develop businesses that have been running.
