Abstract

Pulau Bawean juga memiliki terumbu karang terbaik di Indonesia, terutama di Kepulauan Gili. Terumbu karang di Kepulauan Gili semakin bagus dan berwarna, demikian pernyataan Rini Mustikawati dari Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Jawa Timur saat menjadi narasumber pada Workshop Pengelolaan dan Pengembangan Investasi Pulau. Pulau Kecil di Pulau Bawean. Terumbu karang Bawean memiliki potensi yang besar untuk dikembangkan guna mendatangkan wisatawan ke Pulau Bawean. Terumbu karang di pulau Gili Bawean dapat tumbuh hingga 2 mm per tahun. Namun potensi wisata Pulau Noko belum dibarengi dengan fasilitas yang memadai dan juga belum maksimal. Oleh karena itu, perancangan fasilitas tersebut sangat diperlukan sebagai penunjang pariwisata Pulau Noko yang akan berdampak pada perekonomian masyarakat pulau.
