Abstract

Sidoarjo dikenal dengan Kota UMKM karena memiliki 206.745 UMKM dan Kota Dengan Pebisnis Pemula Terbanyak ke-2 di Jawa Timur. Namun, jumlah UMKM yang aktif hanya sekitar 7.000 UMKM. Perlu adanya pembinaan khusus terhadap UMKM yang tidak aktif lagi agar kembali bangkit, apalagi didukung dengan Kominfo akan membawa UMKM Sidoarjo Go Digital. Sebagai bisnis pemula, banyak usaha rintisan (startup) yang telah berhasil di kota ini. Namun sangat disayangkan beberapa warga sidoarjo yang memilih menumpang di co-working space milik Surabaya, karena di kota ini belum terdapat sebuah wadah untuk saling berkolaborasi untuk berbagi pengetahuan maupun ide bisnis. Hal inilah yang membuat beberapa bisnis di Sidoarjo kurang berkembang / tidak aktif lagi. Adanya tren startup serta pengembangan UMKM memunculkan permintaan sebuah tempat untuk menjalankan usaha rintisan yang masih rentan ini. Sebagai arsitek tentu harus memahami kebutuhan kota nya. Kota Sidoarjo memang membutuhkan fasilitas co-working space untuk menunjang bisnis yang ada dan sebagai tempat berkolaborasi dan berbagi pengetahuan. Didukung dengan peraturan daerah yang ingin meningkatkan perekonomian daerah dan pemerintah yang mendorong teknik pembangunan hemat energi, maka dari itu perancangan coworking space hemat energi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wadah untuk berkolaborasi dan berbagi ide untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat Sidoarjo dengan fasilitas ruang kerja yang nyaman, sehat, fleksibel, dan terjangkau. Sidoarjo is known as the City of MSME because it has 206,745 MSME and The City With the 2nd Most Beginner Businessman in East Java. However, the number of active MSME is only around 7,000 MSME. There needs special guidance for MSME that are no longer active so that they can rise again, let alone supported by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics to bring Sidoarjo MSME to Go Digital. As a startup business, there have been many successful startups in this city. However, it is very unfortunate that some Sidoarjo residents choose to go in Surabaya's coworking space, because there is no place in this city to collaborate with one another to share knowledge or business ideas. This is what makes some businesses in Sidoarjo less developed / inactive. The trend of startups and develop MSME demands a place to run this vulnerable startup. As an architect, of course you must understand the needs of his city. Sidoarjo city does need coworking space facilities to support existing businesses and as a place to collaborate and share knowledge. Supported by local regulations that want to improve the regional economy and the government that encourages energy saving development techniques, the design of this energy saving coworking space aims to give a place to collaborate and share ideas to meet the needs of the Sidoarjo community with comfortable, healthy, workspace facilities. flexible, and affordable.
