Abstract

This study entitled Factors Affecting Production of tiger shrimp in Sedati District of Sidoarjo Regency (Case Study in Kalanganyar Village), This study aims to analyze what factors influence the production of milkfish in Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, and also for know which variables are the most dominant in affecting the production of milkfish. Based on multiple linear regression equation then can be interpreted as follows:LnY = Lnβ0 + β1LnX1 + β2 LnX2 + β3 LnX3 + β4 LnX4 + e = 1.344+0.495LnX1+0.196 LnX2+0.279 LnX3+0.335 LnX4+0.385 LnX5 Land area has a regression coefficient of 0.495, Seed has regression coefficient of 0.196, Feed has a regression coefficient of 0.279, Medication has a regression coefficient of 0.335, The number of labor farmers tambaks have regression coefficient of 0.385. The conclusion of this research indicates that the variables of land area (X1), feed (X3) and medicine (X4) have significant effect on tiger shrimp production in Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency (Y), while Seed (X2) work (X5) Has an insignificant influence on tiger shrimp production in Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency (Y)
