Abstract

Inundation occurred in the urban area of Lamongan Regency because of the increasing number of dwellings, so that the open land that was originally agricultural land and plantations became less and closed or watertight land increased. This watertight land causes rainwater can not seep into the soil, so that in case of high intensity rain causes flooding and inundation. This is expected to happen because in addition to the drainage system is not eligible, also because of the incompatipati something between the Drainage Masterplan and the Spatial Plan. Therefore, efforts are needed to solve this inundation problem, such as conducting technical studies of drainage network systems. The purpose of this research is to (1) Know the causes of puddles in urban areas of Lamongan Regency, (2) Know the model of drainage system applied by the local government of Lamongan Regency, (3) Know the level of effectiveness of drainage system model applied by the local government of Lamongan Regency The method used is to analyze the rain data of the last 10 years using gumbel distribution method, and pearson type III log distribution. Then carried out distribution match test, chi-khuadrat test and smirnov-kolmogrov test. The next step is to determine the intensity of rain by using the Mononobe equation. It aims to find out the rain draft of what method will be used to calculate the discharge plan. To find out how much the plan discharge is carried out by rational methods. The result of this study is (1) The cause of inundation or flooding in lamongan urban area is because there are still drainage channals whose dimensions do not adequately accommodate rainwater runoff. In kenceng drainage system there are 4 channels that do not meet namely : primary channal Sunan giri I, Channal secondary Andansari I, secondary channal mastrip IV and secondary channal Basuki Rahmat II. (2) Lamongan urban area is divided into 7 drainage systems, one of which is kenceng drainage system. The seven drainage systems have been integrated because they boil down to the same river. (3) In kenceng drainage system there are 85% drainage channels that are still effective to accommodate rainwater runoff with
