Abstract

ABSTRACT The role of the Camat has indeed changed in accordance with the demands of the community and the dynamics that have developed. Although the role of the sub-district head is undergoing many changes in his duties in the village administration, it is to provide the best picture of the performance of the apparatus. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the performance of the kelurahan apparatus, the work processes of the services provided by the apparatus, the available facilities and infrastructure, as well as the form of services provided in accordance with predetermined procedures. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach that takes the location and research site in the Keputih Village Office. Qualitative research is a type of research that produces findings that cannot be achieved using statistical procedures or other measurement methods. Collecting data in this study were informants and were determined based on purposive sampling technique, namely determining samples with certain considerations or criteria, so that the number of informants in the Kelurahan government were the Sukolilo sub-district head, the Lurah, Apparatus Performance and the Chairperson of LPMK, and the community. The results of this study indicate that the performance of government officials in Keputih Village improves the quality of service to the community which is quite good and the results of the performance of the apparatus are sufficient to match the capabilities of the apparatus seen from the performance indicators used are: (1) Interpersonal roles, (2) Informational roles, (3) Role of Decision Making, (4) Role of Supervision.
