Abstract

Sembayat Bridge is a bridge that crosses the Bengawan Solo River, located in Sembayat Village, Gresik Regency, East Java Province. In this location there is already a steel-constructed bridge, because of the congestion of the passing traffic the capacity is to build a new bridge east of the old bridge (parallel) with reinforced concrete construction, with concrete pipe pile foundations. Construction of the Sembayat Bridge is to support a program that is effective, efficient and sustainable in handling planned road networks. This program is in line with the increasing growth and development of residential areas and the economy in the Surabaya - Gresik - Lamongan and Tuban regions, which has led to increasing transportation infrastructure needs. One of the Abutments (Abutmen A1) Bridges located in Settlements (Sembayat Village) uses a concrete pile foundation with a diameter of 100 cm with a depth of 66 m, if the concrete pile is made it is possible to cause sufficient vibration to cause damage to the settlement problem will be taken alternative bored pile foundation. On the basis of the above problems, it is necessary to have a Value Engineering Analysis of the building under the bridge in the foundation work on how to structure the bored pile foundation, what does the Cost Budget Plan (RAB) become more efficient and the execution time? and then analysis of the design of the construction below (foundation), analysis of the budget plan (RAB) and time of implementation. From the initial noise, the dimensions of concrete pipe piles with a diameter of 100 cm and a depth of 66 meters were obtained after analysis of changes in construction (bored pile) obtained a diameter of 100 cm with a depth of 55 m, the cost required for initial construction (concrete pipe pile) Rp. 5,339,088,887.87 and the cost for alternative construction (Bored pile) is Rp. 4,901,671,795.83 thus obtaining a cost savings of Rp. 437,417,092.04 or 8.19% while the implementation time is more or less the same. Value engineering is recommended to be done at the beginning of the work so that the type of foundation is obtained according to the location conditions, optimizing cost savings and implementation time.
