Abstract

ABSTRACTDarmono, 2016ANALYSIS ON FLEXIBLE PAVEMENTROAD SECTIONS KUJAN -RUNTU LAMANDAU DISTRICTSupervisor 1:DR. Ir. Koespiadi, MTSupervisor 2:Hanie Teki Tjendani, ST, MTOne of the national roads in the district of Central Kalimantan Lamandau were roads Kujan -Runtu. The condition of roads is currently inadequate for the development of traffic, signage damage to the wear layer, ie cracks, hollows or grooves lengthwise direction of the road, potholes, and jembulan asphalt. This is a problem that is quite disturbing for road users majors Kalbar -Kudangan -Penopa.The method used to determine differences on flexible pavement road sections using AASHTO method 1993 and Bina Marga method.The results of the research can be submitted as follows; (1). No difference between the value of the CBR value of both methods. For the 1993 AASHTO method using soil resilient modulus obtained at 1,586 psi and to methods of Bina Margause of soil bearing capacity value (DDT) obtained of 1.77, (2) The number of vehicles in 1993 AASHTO method is greater than the method of Bina Marga, the method Bina Marga are converted into equivalent traffic, (3) for the pavement thickness index parameters in the 1993 AASHTO method grades structural number (SN) of 9.4, the method of Bina Marga pavement thickness index (ITP) at 7.25, d.Tebal pavement methods Bina Margasurface layer material laston MS 744 by 10 cm. The base layer of crushed stone material (class A) 20 cm, and a layer of gravel subbase material (class A) 10 cm. The thickness of pavement layers AASHTO 1993 Method of coating the surface of 12.7 cm, the base layer is 20 cm, and the base layer is lower by 20 cm. (4) Thickness of the base layer and the surface of the base layer is produced by the method of Bina Margais more economical compared to thick surface layer and the base layer with the AASHTO method 1993.
