Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan sektor strategis yang berperan penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh jumlah wisatawan, jumlah objek wisata, jumlah kamar hotel, dan jumlah restoran terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor pariwisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder periode 2014–2024. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak IBM SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial jumlah wisatawan, jumlah objek wisata, jumlah kamar hotel, dan jumlah restoran memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, meskipun dengan arah dan kekuatan pengaruh yang berbeda. Selain itu, hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa keempat variabel tersebut secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di sektor pariwisata. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata perlu dilakukan secara terpadu dan berkelanjutan agar mampu menciptakan multiplier effect terhadap kesempatan kerja dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
