Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengendalian risiko pada proyek pembangunan drainase Jalan Lay di Kelurahan Barong Tongkok, Kabupaten Kutai Barat, menggunakan metode HIRADC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control). Fokus penelitian meliputi identifikasi potensi bahaya, penilaian tingkat risiko, serta penentuan langkah pengendalian yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja proyek. Sebanyak 23 potensi bahaya berhasil diidentifikasi pada berbagai aktivitas utama, seperti mobilisasi alat, pekerjaan galian, pemasangan U-ditch, pengecoran, dan pengangkutan material. Penilaian risiko awal menunjukkan satu bahaya kategori Risiko Ekstrim, lima Risiko Tinggi, dan sisanya Risiko Sedang, dengan risiko tertinggi pada kegiatan pengangkatan U-ditch dan pekerjaan galian. Proses penilaian dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, penyusunan tabel HIRADC, serta wawancara dengan pihak K3 untuk memperoleh penilaian yang sesuai kondisi proyek. Setelah pengendalian diterapkan melalui rekayasa teknik, prosedur administrasi, manajemen lalu lintas, dan penggunaan APD, seluruh risiko Ekstrim dan Tinggi berhasil diturunkan menjadi kategori Sedang dan Rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode HIRADC efektif dalam mengurangi potensi kecelakaan serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja proyek dari aspek waktu, biaya, dan mutu.
