Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku pada produk tepak plastik di PT. Multiplast Indojaya Plant Tanjungsari. Fokus utama penelitian adalah menentukan perencanaan kebutuhan bahan baku yang optimal dan menyusun jadwal produksi yang sesuai dengan permintaan aktual. Perencanaan kebutuhan bahan baku yang optimal dapat ditentukan dari hasil forecasting menggunakan hasil metode terkecil yaitu metode moving average 3 periode dengan hasil (Mean Absolute Deviation) MAD 1078 sehingga didapat hasil forecasting periode berikutnya adalah 4585pcs. Lalu setelah dilakukan hasil perhitungan safety stock hasilnya adalah 1781 unit. Perhitungan kebutuhan bahan baku berdasarkan metode Silver Meal memperlihatkan bahwa perencanaan sekali pesan yang optimal pada komponen Badan Tepak adalah di periode 1&2 dengan jumlah 9170 unit (917Kg) lalu pada periode 3 adalah 4585 unit (458,5Kg), Selanjutnya pada komponen Tutup Tepak adalah periode 1&2 dengan jumlah 9170 unit (458,5Kg) dan periode 3 adalah 4585 unit (229,2Kg). persediaan periode 1 mampu menutup kebutuhan periode 2 dikarenakan perencanaan sekali pesan 2 periode sekaligus lebih optimal, sementara periode berikutnya membutuhkan pemesanan rutin tanpa menyebabkan penumpukan. Dan perbandingan biaya dari kebijakan perusahaan dengan metode Silver Meal dapat mencapai efisiensi senilai 47% atau selisih Rp255.007.. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berhasil menentukan metode peramalan, jumlah kebutuhan bahan baku, dan jadwal produksi yang optimal untuk mendukung efektivitas PPIC perusahaan.
