Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh modal kerja dan jenis barang dagangan terhadap pendapatan usaha toko kelontong Madura di Kecamatan Jambangan, Kota Surabaya. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada peran strategis toko kelontong Madura sebagai bagian dari Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menenga(UMKM) dalam menopang perekonomian masyarakat, serta adanya fluktuasi pendapatan usaha yang dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan modal kerja dan pemilihan jenis barang dagangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda, dengan data yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada pemilik toko kelontong Madura menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal kerja dan jenis barang dagangan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan toko kelontong Madura. Namun, secara parsial hanya modal kerja yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan, sedangkan jenis barang dagangan tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengelolaan modal kerja yang baik memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung kelancaran operasional usaha dan meningkatkan pendapatan, sementara variasi jenis barang dagangan perlu disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pasar agar memberikan dampak yang lebih optimal. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modal kerja merupakan faktor dominan yang memengaruhi pendapatan toko kelontong Madura di Kecamatan Jambangan. Oleh karena itu, pemilik usaha disarankan untuk mengelola modal kerja secara efektif guna menjaga keberlangsungan usaha dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pelaku UMKM serta penelitian selanjutnya dengan menambahkan variabel lain yang berpotensi memengaruhi pendapatan usaha.
