Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi, jumlah penduduk, dan pendidikan terhadap kemiskinan di Kabupaten Sidoarjo selama periode 2014–2023, yang dilatarbelakangi oleh masih tingginya tingkat kemiskinan meskipun daerah ini mengalami pertumbuhan ekonomi dan perkembangan industri yang pesat. Menggunakan data sekunder dari BPS dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif melalui regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap kemiskinan, sementara secara parsial pendidikan menjadi faktor yang paling efektif dalam menurunkan angka kemiskinan dibandingkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan jumlah penduduk yang berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya pemerataan dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sebagai strategi utama pengentasan kemiskinan, serta perlunya kebijakan ekonomi yang lebih inklusif. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menambahkan variabel lain seperti ketimpangan pendapatan, pengangguran, dan kualitas infrastruktur agar analisis determinan kemiskinan semakin komprehensif.
