Abstract

CV. Simetri Utama merupakan perusahan manufaktur presisi yang memproduksi cetakan udang beku menggunakan proses CNC milling. Dalam proses produksinya masih ditemukan produk cacat dengan persentase yang melebihi standar perusahaan, yaitu lebih dari 3%, khususnya pada cacat bentuk tidak rata dan kode produk tidak sempurna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kecacatan produk, menganalisis faktor penyebab kegagalan kualitas proses produksi, serta memberikan usulan perbaikan guna meminimalkan tingkat kecacatan produk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Seven Tools dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Seven Tools digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kecacatan produk melalui stratifikasi data, check sheet, histogram, diagram Pareto, peta kendali p, scatter diagram, dan diagram sebab akibat. Selanjutnya, metode FMEA digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas kegagalan berdasarkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN). Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan data produksi periode Juni hingga Oktober 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecacatan dominan pada produk cetakan udang beku adalah bentuk tidak rata dan kode produk tidak sempurna. Faktor penyebab utama kegagalan berasal dari aspek manusia, mesin, metode kerja, dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan analisis FMEA, diperoleh prioritas kegagalan tertinggi yang menjadi dasar penyusunan usulan perbaikan. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam menurunkan tingkat kecacatan produk dan meningkatkan kualitas proses produksi secara berkelanjutan.
