Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pengendalian kualitas produk pipa besi pada CV. Perjuangan Steel dengan menerapkan metode Statistical Quality Control (SQC). Pengendalian kualitas merupakan aspek penting dalam industri manufaktur untuk menjaga mutu produk dan memenuhi standar perusahaan. Metode SQC digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis cacat dominan serta mengevaluasi kestabilan proses produksi menggunakan alat bantu statistik seperti control chart, diagram Pareto, dan fishbone diagram. Data yang dianalisis merupakan data produksi pipa besi periode November 2024 hingga Mei 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat cacat pada produk pipa besi seringkali melebihi ambang batas toleransi sebesar 5% yang ditetapkan perusahaan, dengan nilai CP Produk pipa besi memiliki nilai Cp sebesar 0,50, produk besi hollow memiliki nilai Cp sebesar 1,77, dan produk kanal memiliki nilai Cp sebesar 2,76 maka penelitian berfokus pada produk pipa besi. Setelah dilakukan hasil usulan perbaikan didaptkan nilai kapabilitas proses sebesar 3,54. Jenis cacat yang paling sering terjadi meliputi cacat pengelasan, bentuk, dan pemotongan. Analisis lebih lanjut mengungkapkan bahwa penyebab utama kecacatan berasal dari faktor manusia, mesin, metode kerja, dan material. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, peneliti memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk mengurangi cacat melalui pelatihan operator, pemeliharaan mesin, penyempurnaan metode kerja, serta pengawasan kualitas bahan baku. Penerapan metode SQC secara berkelanjutan diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengontrol proses produksi secara efektif, mengurangi tingkat kecacatan, meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, dan memastikan kualitas produk tetap sesuai standar.
