Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur di Jawa Timur yang memproduksi berbagai jenis karung plastik, termasuk karung jumbo. Dalam proses penjahitan karung jumbo merupakan proses penting yang dilakukan secara semi manual dengan satu pekerja pada setiap mesin. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi keluhan pada pekerja karena tinggi kursi yang tidak sesuai dengan karakteristik tubuh pekerja sehingga menimbulkan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Oleh karena itu, dilakukanya perancangan ulang pada kursi dengan menggunakan metode antropometri, yang didukung analisis keluhan Nordic Body Map (NBM), postur kerja Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), dan analisis waktu kerja Time Study. Hasil analisis antropometri dan persentil menghasilkan rancangan kursi kerja ergonomis dengan dimensi: tinggi dudukan 47–52 cm, panjang dan lebar dudukan 40 cm, tinggi sandaran 52 cm, serta lebar sandaran atas 44 cm. Dari implementasi kursi kerja ergomis menunjukkan bahwa perbaikan kursi kerja memberikan dampak positif pada pekerja. Pada pengukuran keluhan pekerja dengan metode NBM, didapatkan hasil keluhan pekerja menurun, dengan 1 pekerja memperoleh skor 51 (risiko sedang) dan 11 pekerja berada pada skor 39–48 (risiko rendah). Metode RULA juga menunjukkan perbaikan dengan skor akhir turun menjadi 3–4 yang menandakan resiko lebih aman. Sementara itu, hasil analisis waktu kerja (Time Study) menunjukkan percepatan proses penjahitan sebesar 100 detik (CBT), 97 detik (JSB), 89 detik (KNI), dengan produktivitas sebesar 4,2% pada produk CBT, 8,2% pada JSB, dan 5,4% pada KNI.
