Abstract

Aspal porus merupakan campuran aspal panas dengan gradasi terbuka, ditandai oleh proporsi agregat kasar yang tinggi dan agregat halus yang rendah, sehingga membentuk rongga udara besar sekitar 18% - 25% di dalam struktur campuran. Dengan adanya rongga udara ini bertujuan untuk mengalirkan air saat hujan, sehingga dapat mengurangi terjadinya genangan air di permukaan jalan. Saat ini, aspal porus tengah dikembangkan sebagai alternatif material untuk konstruksi lapisan aus (wearing course). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan limbah bonggol jagung sebagai filler dalam campuran aspal porus. Penelitian ini menguji kadar aspal optimum (KAO) pada campuran yang menggunakan filler kapur yang lolos saringan No. 200 (0,075 mm) sebesar 1% , dengan variasi kadar aspal 4%, 4,5%, 5%, 5,5%, dan 6%. Di lanjut dengan pembuatan campuran aspal porus pada kondisi KAO untuk mengetahui karakteristik campuran dan nilai permeabilitas menggunakan subtitusi abu bonggol jagung : kapur (0% : 1%, 0.25% : 0.75%, 0.5% : 0.5%, 0.75% : 0.25%, dan 1% : 0%). Seluruh pengujian mengikuti pedoman yang ditetapkan oleh Spesifikasi Bina Marga (Revisi 2, 2018) dan Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA 2004), dengan menggunakan tiga parameter utama Marshall, Cantabro Loss (CL), dan Asphalt Flow Down (AFD) serta parameter tambahan Permeabilitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa limbah bonggol jagung dapat digunakan sebagai filler alternatif dalam campuran aspal porus dengan hasil yang memenuhi standar spesifikasi.
