Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh bentuk geometri bata beton interlock tipe Lug Groove dan Dovetail terhadap kuat tekan serta efisiensi konstruksi dibandingkan bata merah konvensional. Pengujian dilakukan secara eksperimental melalui uji kuat tekan, pengukuran waktu pemasangan, evaluasi proses pembongkaran, dan perhitungan biaya produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua tipe bata interlock memenuhi kategori bata beton pejal mutu II menurut SNI 03-0349-1989, dengan kuat tekan masing-masing sebesar 43,99 kg/cm² untuk Lug Groove dan 44,88 kg/cm² untuk Dovetail. Meski nilai kuat tekannya lebih rendah daripada bata merah, sistem interlock mampu mempercepat pemasangan hingga lima kali lipat, yakni 4,17 m²/jam/tukang untuk Dovetail dan 3,68 m²/jam/tukang untuk Lug Groove dibandingkan bata merah yang hanya 0,75 m²/jam/tukang. Selain itu, proses pembongkaran dapat dilakukan tanpa merusak elemen bata sehingga material dapat digunakan kembali, mendukung konsep sustainable construction. Dari sisi biaya, bata interlock lebih ekonomis karena tidak memerlukan pekerjaan spesi, plesteran, dan acian, sehingga total biaya untuk luasan 0,25 m² lebih rendah dibandingkan bata merah. Dengan demikian, sistem interlock tipe Lug Groove dan Dovetail terbukti memberikan pengaruh efisiensi waktu, biaya, serta kemudahan pelaksanaan, dan memiliki potensi sebagai alternatif material dinding yang inovatif,reusable, dan ramah lingkungan.
