Abstract

This study aims to describe the communication network map and analyze the function of protocols within the Yayasan Perguruan 17 August 1945 (YPTA) Surabaya through the Communication Audit approach. The method used is Social Network Analysis (SNA) with the help of Gephi and UCINET devices to look at the network structure, key actors, and the strength of relationships between units. Data is collected through interviews, documentation, and internal communication flow tracking. The results of the study show that the protocol communication network at YPTA Surabaya is very centralized. There are core groups that play an important role in coordination, while educational units are in peripheral positions. Communication audits revealed that the protocol function was effective but not formally structured, so it still relied on informal practices and individual experiences. This study recommends the formation of an official protocol team, the preparation of SOPs, and the strengthening of coordination between units so that the implementation of protocols is more professional and efficient.
