Abstract

The development of information technology has a significant impact on life, including in healthcare services. Website-based information systems can improve the efficiency of data management and services in healthcare facilities. In the independent practice of dentist Hary Alihkaryanto, who still uses manual paper-based administration methods, he experienced several obstacles such as long data search processes and data damage and loss. To overcome these problems, this study developed a website-based management information system using the waterfall method which includes needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. In testing the system, the Blackbox Testing method was used and user comfort evaluation was carried out using Umux Lite. As a result of this study, a website for the management information system for independent dentist practices was developed that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data management so that it can provide better services. The results of the Blackbox Testing test have successfully run all test scenarios according to the test case. The usability test resulted in an Umux Lite score of 84.28, which means the system has an A+ category so it is ready for use.
