Abstract

Mahasiswa yang bekerja dihadapkan pada peran ganda yang menuntut pembagian waktu, energi, dan konsentrasi antara kegiatan akademik dan pekerjaan. Tekanan tersebut berpotensi memicu stres akademik yang dapat mendorong munculnya perilaku tidak adaptif selama proses pembelajaran, seperti cyberloafing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional, melibatkan 160 mahasiswa aktif Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya yang kuliah sambil bekerja, dan dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala stres akademik yang disusun secara mandiri oleh peneliti berdasarkan teori Gadzella (2005), serta skala cyberloafing yang diadaptasi dari Aisyah (2024) yang disusun berdasarkan teori Akbulut et al. (2016). Kedua instrumen telah melalui proses uji validitas dan reliabilitas sebelum digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara stres akademik dan cyberloafing dengan nilai korelasi Pearson sebesar r = 0,447 dan p < 0,001. Hasil uji regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa stres akademik memberikan kontribusi sebesar 20% terhadap variasi perilaku cyberloafing (R² = 0,200). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan tingkat stres akademik berbanding lurus dengan kecenderungan mahasiswa yang bekerja untuk melakukan perilaku cyberloafing selama kegiatan akademik.
