Abstract
The village government is responsible for managing village funds transparently and accountably. Good governance in village fund management can be achieved through the application of Good Financial Governance (GFG) principles. This research explores the village fund management system with Good Financial Governance principles in the best tourist villages in Gresik. The goal of village funds is to enhance the economy and welfare of the village community. The study explores the data analysis methods used to understand the village fund management system with Good Financial Governance principles in the top 3 tourist villages in Gresik Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis with the Miles and Huberman approach, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is checked through data triangulation, peer examination, prolonged engagement, and observation persistence. The research shows that integrating electronic financial systems and developing responsive financial governance models can improve efficiency and accountability in village fund management. Through a holistic approach and the development of theoretical models, villages can achieve sustainable good financial governance, resulting in benefits such as enhanced community welfare, better village income through sustainable tourism, and improved infrastructure and tourist facilities.
