Abstract
This research aims to examine the effect of individual learning and workplace learning on employee innovative behavior with the mediation of adaptability, creativity, on civil servants in South Kalimantan Province. This research uses a quantitative approach, with data obtained through a survey of a number of ASNs in the South Kalimantan region. Using the structural equation model (SEM) AMOS 26. Data on 139 employees who participated in supervisory level leadership training at the Human Resources Development Agency. Analyzed to determine the extent to which the two types of learning can improve the quality of adaptability, creativity and innovative behavior of employees. The results showed that individual learning had a significant effect on employee adaptability and creativity. Similarly, workplace learning has a strong impact on employee adaptability and creativity. Employee adaptability is shown to contribute to increased innovative behavior, while employee creativity has a highly significant influence on innovative behavior. In addition, individual learning had a direct influence on employees' innovative behavior, while workplace learning showed a significant negative relationship with innovative behavior, indicating the presence of factors that may inhibit innovation in certain work environments. In the mediation effect analysis, employee adaptability emerged as a significant mediator in the relationship between individual learning and innovative behavior, and between workplace learning and innovative behavior. Employee creativity served as a strong mediator in the relationship between workplace learning and innovative behavior, but did not significantly mediate the relationship between individualized learning and innovative behavior. These findings confirm the importance of individual and workplace learning in fostering innovation by increasing employees' adaptability and creativity. Organizations are advised to not only encourage learning, but also create a work environment that supports innovation so that learning can optimally contribute to increasing employees' innovative behavior.
