Abstract

This project is a government project in Jember regency this project will be carried out from May 20 to November 16, 2024, (180 calendar days) according to the initial contract of the road improvement project has a length of 7,846 m and a road width of 3 m, the road is the main road connecting two villages, namely Andongrejo village and Bandialet village. One way to speed up the duration of a project in foreign terms is crashing. The terminology of the crashing process is to reduce the duration of a job which will affect the project completion time. Crashing is a deliberate, systematic and analytical process by evaluating all activities in a project that are centered on activities that are on a critical path. The results of the crashing method resulted in the Alternative of adding working hours (overtime) to a duration of 16 days with a total cost of Rp 629.83 million, which is about 0.9% lower than the normal state of 21 days and 0.88% lower than the addition of labor, making it the most economical option while meeting the 5-day acceleration target
