Abstract

Studi ini menyelidiki ketidakseimbangan beban dan efisiensi operasional dua transformator daya (1250 kVA dan 1600 kVA) yang terletak di Gedung Spazio, Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pembebanan pada ketidakseimbangan beban dan untuk mengukur kerugian daya karena ketidakseimbangan beban dan efisiensi transformator secara keseluruhan. Metode observasi digunakan untuk pengumpulan data selama periode 12 hari, mengumpulkan spesifikasi arus, tegangan, dan transformator. Perhitungan manual dilakukan untuk persentase pembebanan, ketidakseimbangan beban, kerugian arus netral, dan efisiensi, dengan hasil yang dibandingkan dengan standar IEEE std 446 – 1980, SPLN D3.002-1 2007, dan SPLN 17:1979. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pembebanan transformator maksimum yang diamati adalah 12,64%, yang secara signifikan di bawah kisaran pemanfaatan optimal, yang menunjukkan pemanfaatan kapasitas yang sangat kurang. Ketidakseimbangan beban kadang-kadang melebihi ambang batas SPLN <10%, memuncak pada 10,13% untuk Transformator 1 pada Hari ke-3, yang menunjukkan distribusi beban tidak merata yang terputus-putus. Meskipun terdapat arus netral, persentase kerugian yang dihitung secara konsisten sangat rendah (0,041% hingga 0,45%), sehingga berdampak langsung minimal pada pemborosan energi pada tingkat beban saat ini. Efisiensi transformator secara keseluruhan tetap sangat tinggi, melebihi 99,5%. Disimpulkan bahwa meskipun transformator pada dasarnya efisien, pemanfaatannya yang kurang signifikan dan ketidakseimbangan beban sesekali menyoroti peluang untuk manajemen beban yang lebih baik guna mengoptimalkan kinerja sistem dan alokasi sumber daya.
