Abstract

Motor induksi 3 fasa merupakan komponen vital dalam berbagai aplikasi industri, termasuk di PT. Kalam Leverage Mulia. Namun, ketidakseimbangan tegangan suplai sering menjadi permasalahan yang berdampak signifikan pada kinerja motor. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh ketidakseimbangan tegangan suplai terhadap arus inrush pada pengasutan motor induksi 3 fasa menggunakan metode Direct On Line (DOL) dan Star Delta. Data tegangan suplai selama 16 hari dianalisis untuk menghitung persentase ketidakseimbangan tegangan. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa ketidakseimbangan tegangan suplai memiliki pengaruh nyata terhadap kenaikan arus inrush. Pada motor 4 kW, ketidakseimbangan tegangan sebesar 1,39% menyebabkan peningkatan arus inrush DOL dari 60,64 A menjadi 62,32 A, dan arus inrush Star Delta dari 20,21 A menjadi 20,775 A. Untuk motor 18,5 kW, ketidakseimbangan 0,87% meningkatkan arus inrush DOL dari 284,58 A menjadi 289,51 A, dan arus inrush Star Delta dari 94,86 A menjadi 96,5 A. Metode pengasutan DOL menghasilkan arus inrush yang jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan Star Delta dalam kondisi tegangan normal maupun tidak seimbang. Ketidakseimbangan tegangan juga berdampak negatif pada performa motor, termasuk peningkatan suhu belitan, torsi tidak seimbang, getaran, dan penurunan efisiensi. Metode pengasutan star delta lebih sesuai digunakan dibandingkan DOL pada kondisi suplai tegangan tidak seimbang karena menghasilkan arus inrush yang jauh lebih kecil dan gelombang arus yang lebih stabil. Dengan pengurangan arus start hingga sepertiga dari metode DOL, star delta membantu menjaga keandalan sistem dan memperpanjang umur motor induksi.
