Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dan trait emotional intelligence dengan work engagement pada karyawan startup. Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya work engagement dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan keberhasilan organisasi, terutama di era persaingan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan 105 karyawan startup sebagai sampel yang diambil melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan skala UWES‑17 untuk work engagement, skala efikasi diri dan TEIQue‑SF v1.50. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, efikasi diri dan trait emotional intelligence memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap work engagement. Diperoleh skor F = 16,444, skor signifikansi sebesar 0,000 = p< 0,001). Nilai koefisien determinasi R² = 0,244. Artinya efikasi diri dan trait emotional intelligence memberikan sumbangan efektif kepada work engagement sebesar 24,4%. Analisis korelasi parsial menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan work engagement (t = 3,643; p < 0,01). Analisis korelasi parsial juga menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara trait emotional intelligence dengan work engagement (t = 3,842; p < 0,01).
