Abstract

Bangunan Pertunjukan ini menggunakan simbolisme arsitektur dalam perancangan ruang pertunjukan Tari Caping Ngancak di Lamongan. Kabupaten Lamongan menghasilkan Tari Caping Ngancak, sebuah representasi artistik dari kehidupan pertanian. Desain ini ekspresif dan bermakna karena menarik perbandingan antara gerakan tarian dan bentuk topi petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif yang melibatkan analisis dokumen, observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan studi kasus. Hasil arsitektural menunjukkan bagaimana ruang pertunjukan dapat digunakan untuk mempromosikan keterlibatan masyarakat dan melestarikan seni tradisional. Ide arsitektural simbolisme secara efektif memadukan aspek budaya lokal dengan hasil perubahan bentuk bangunan, di mana balkon dan kanopi yang dikelilingi oleh pilar-pilar melambangkan tangan-tangan yang melingkari mencerminkan kesatuan antara manusia dan alam serta menghormati tradisi dan budaya lokal. Merancangan sebuah fasilitas pertunjukan kesenian merupakan wadah pelestarian dan pengembangan warisan budaya Lamongan. Memiliki beberapa fasilitas seperti : ruang pertunjukan, pelatihan, pendidikan, Asrama, dan galeri untuk mempromosikan kesenian tradisional. Dengan standar fasilitas yang memadai, pusat kesenian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan penari, mengembangkan apresiasi masyarakat, dan melestarikan budaya Lamongan. Selain itu, fasilitas ini juga menyediakan ruang diskusi untuk remaja dan komunitas seni. Desain arsitektur yang unik dan ikonik mencerminkan potensi kesenian Lamongan.
