Abstract

The offset printing industry faces challenges in maintaining consistent print quality, which is influenced by environmental parameters such as total solids, wetting fluid, and printing machine temperature. Imbalances in these parameters can degrade print quality, increase waste, and extend production time. This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system that can monitor EC and temperature parameters in real time, provide automatic notifications when anomalies occur, and support data-driven decision-making. The system uses a TDS meter and temperature sensors connected to an ESP8266 microcontroller to collect data and send it to a cloud platform via Wi-Fi. The data is visualized in interactive graphs on an IoT dashboard to facilitate operator parameter monitoring. Testing was conducted to evaluate the system's accuracy, stability, and effectiveness under real-world operational conditions. The results show that the system can improve operational efficiency by quickly detecting anomalies, reducing the risk of manual errors, and supporting print quality control.
