Abstract

Gunungsari Village is an agricultural area that is limited directly to the Perhutani area, which means that the majority of the people in Gunungsari Village make their living as farmers, although there are some who trade, civil servants as well as the military and police who are not yet covered by affordable Internet which can facilitate the running of the government process. This research aims to implement Cisco Lifecycle Services (CLS) for affordable internet using PPPoE client mode on Mikrotik in Gunungsari Village. CLS is a service from Cisco that helps companies manage the lifecycle of their network devices. By using CLS, Gunungsari Village can save internet costs and improve the quality of internet services. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative methods were used to collect data about internet access conditions in Gunungsari Village. Quantitative methods are used to measure the impact of CLS implementation on the cost and quality of internet services. The research results show that implementing CLS can save internet costs in Gunungsari Village by up to 50%. The quality of internet service has also improved with CLS. Gunungsari Village now has faster and more stable internet access. This research shows that CLS is an effective solution for providing affordable internet in remote villages. CLS can help improve the quality of life of people in remote villages by giving them better internet access.
