Abstract

Motivasi akademik merupakan faktor penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan santri, khususnya dalam sistem pendidikan pesantren yang memiliki rutinitas ketat dan atmosfer pembelajaran khas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara learning experience dan teaching style terhadap motivasi akademik santriwati baru di Pondok Pesantren Amanatul Ummah Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel sebanyak 155 santriwati jenjang MTS dan MA dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup Skala Motivasi Akademik (Vallerand, 1995), Skala Learning Experience (Kolb, 1984), dan Skala Teaching Style (Grasha-Riechmann, 1996). Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji korelasi Pearson, uji regresi linear berganda, uji simultan (F), uji parsial (t), dan koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa learning experience dan teaching style secara bersamasama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi akademik (F = 30,625; p < 0,01). Uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa keduanya berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi akademik (learning experience: B = 0,149; t = 3,344; p = 0,001 dan teaching style: B = 0,216; t = 6,623; p = 0,000). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R² = 0,287) menunjukkan bahwa 28,7% variasi motivasi akademik dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel bebas tersebut.
